Reporter Lindsay Keefer’s trip to Yellowstone National Park, taken the last weekend in August, was the same time controlled wildfires blazed through the park, offering a reddish hue to the steam produced from the 308-foot Lower Yellowstone Falls and a golden shimmer to the Yellowstone River.
