Bill Hamilton, now 82, displays two of the patches from units he was assigned to during the Korean War. Hamilton was based at Pohang early in the war, but after China entered the conflict on the side of North Korea, his unit was sent to a base near the Chosin Reservoir, the site of a bitter battle between Chinese and American forces.
