Jose Guerrero, 17, relaxes at the Woodburn Boys &?Girls Club by playing a game of pool. Guerrero, a senior at Woodburn Academy of Art, Science and Technology, has been named the Woodburn Youth of the Year by the Boys & Girls Club, which enters him into a scholarship competition. Guerrero has overcome many barriers to become a leader at the club, including leaving behind a life as a gang member.
