Woman arrested in Brooks on 120 counts of animal neglect

Alicia Inglish is accused of neglecting nearly 150 animals at rescue facility in Brooks

Marion County Sheriff’s Office and Oregon Humane Society investigators rescued 149 malnourished dogs in a crowded facility in Brooks, Willamette Valley Animal Rescue, on Sunday. As shown above, crates were stacked like cordwood, with as many as four dogs stuffed into individual carriers. The facility’s president, Alicia Inglish, was arrested and charged with 120 counts of animal neglect and one count of tampering with evidence.
UPDATE: Alicia Inglish was originally charged with 120 counts of animal neglect in the second degree.
